After each use, wash your Chemex with warm soapy water and rinse thoroughly. You can wash the glass part in the dishwasher by removing the wooden handle, but hand washing will prolong its lifespan. To prevent the buildup of coffee oils, deep clean once a week using hot water and a coffee cleanser tablet or vinegar. Do not leave the wooden handle wet or store it in humid environments, as it may crack or deform. Keep the leather handle dry; you can apply a leather care product if needed. Avoid using harsh scrubbers or metal sponges, as they may damage the glass surface. After washing, dry all parts thoroughly, wiping with a soft towel to prevent water stains. Store your Chemex in a dry and safe place, being careful not to drop it. Avoid sudden temperature changes; do not put very hot glass in cold water, as it may crack. If you will not be using it for a long time, ensure it is clean and dry and store it in a secure cupboard. If cracks or breaks occur, discontinue use, as it may pose a safety hazard.
