Maintenance and Cleaning:

Before first use, rinse all parts with warm water and brew coffee 2-3 times, then discard the brewed coffee. After each use, allow it to cool and clean the parts with warm water after disassembling them. Do not wash in a dishwasher. Do not use detergent (to allow the coffee oils to retain their flavor). After drying completely, reassemble and store. Check the gasket and filter regularly.

Usage Recommendation:

Fill the lower chamber with water up to below the safety valve (approximately 150 ml). Add medium-fine ground coffee to the filter basket, flattening the top (do not compress). Screw the top tightly shut. Heat over medium-low heat, leaving the lid open. Reduce heat when coffee begins to flow into the upper chamber. Remove from heat immediately when you hear a bubbling sound. Stir before serving. Use approximately 15-17 grams of coffee for 3 cups.
